We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Event Producer to join our Business Support Community at CHO. You will be responsible for assisting with organization and overseeing all events, including the Amsterdam Marathon, Sinterklaas, New Year's events, and the bi-yearly Brand Show for store managers worldwide. At Rituals, we aim to create meaningful moments and celebrate our successes through our events, sharing innovations, inspiration, and motivation. With the growth of our organization and the increasing volume of events, we need an Event Manager to ensure all events run smoothly, assist project owners, and develop a comprehensive yearly plan. In some projects you will be in the lead, others you will find yourself in a more supporting role.
You’ll embody our philosophy of "aim big, act small," making a tangible impact through your responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution: Organize and manage all events, including the Marathon, yearly parties, Sinterklaas, New Year's events, and the bi-yearly Brand Show. Ensure each event aligns with the company's goals and values. Propose creative solutions for event elements such as theme, décor, entertainment and overall attendee experience. Develop detailed event production schedules and timelines to ensure every aspect of the event is executed on time.
- Support Project Owners/ collaboration: Assist other team members who are project owners, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution. Be able to work out event hosts planning, prepare briefings and create enthusiasm amongst the support group before and during the event.
- Yearly Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive yearly event plan, outlining key milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
Vendor & Stakeholders Management: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently. Assure clear communication & seamless execution whilst being main contact between all event stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within the allocated budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Negotiate with vendors & suppliers to get the best pricing and ensure the event stays within budget.
- Communication & Registration: Familiarize with our online communication & registration tool and independently work out communication plans for each event.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, measure success, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure all vendor invoices and event payments are administered correctly and paid promptly.
- Innovation and Creativity: Continuously seek new ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the event experience and create memorable moments for attendees.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in event production, project management, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing (virtual) events of various sizes, from small corporate gatherings to large-scale productions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight of events.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Momice).
- Willingness to travel for events, site visits, or client meetings.
