Karin Segers succeeds Mirjam van de Kamp as Director of Conventions Rotterdam Ahoy

Karin Segers will strengthen the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Center team as of May 1 in the position of Director of Conventions. She follows in the footsteps of Mirjam van de Kamp, who will leave on July 1 for a personal adventure.

Segers is currently segment leader for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events at 35 NH hotels in the Netherlands. In her new role she will be responsible for further building brand awareness of the Convention Centre, both nationally and internationally, and will lead the team of sales managers.

Segers succeeds Mirjam van de Kamp, who will be traveling with her family for an indefinite period from this summer. Van de Kamp: "It is with a heavy heart that I am leaving Rotterdam Ahoy this summer, but for a special reason: we are going on a trip with our family, sailing towards sunny destinations to give our lives a different meaning for an indefinite period of time.”
