As Events Manager, you are responsible for organizing and executing events for the Heineken events department

Your Purpose

As Events Manager, you are responsible for organizing and executing events for the Heineken events department. This contains B2B events within the Heineken Experience and Heineken Corporate events globally. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that each event aligns with our global brand strategy and offering guests and delegates an unforgettable Heineken brand experience.

Post event

  • Post-event evaluation with suppliers, F&B managers and event owners
  • Budgeting and invoicing to event owner
  • Handling payments suppliers
  • Coordinate logistics of our materials that need to return to the Netherlands

Process Improvement: 

  • Managing and monitoring the execution and continuous improvement of work processes
  • Come forward with concrete ideas and solutions, as being co-responsible for the implementation of improvements

Your Profile

  • Education: HBO, preferably hospitality or events
  • Work Experience: Min. 5/6 years of experience in organizing large-scale, international corporate events

Must Haves:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in stakeholder and employee engagement
  • Experience in implementing brand strategies in events and creating consistent brand experiences
  • Production knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong planning & organising skills
  • Flexiblity and ability to manage uncertainty and work under pressure
  • Willing to travel minimal 8-10 days per month
  • Command of English language (both written and spoken)
  • Other: HEINEKEN Experience events is open 365 days on an annual base. Your flexible availability during the weekend and holidays is required

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of F&B and events trends
  • Negotiating skills
  • Command of Dutch language (both written and spoken)
